Out‑of‑Warranty Service Fees

Installation with Wall Breaking / Hole DrillingQuoted individually (negotiable)Requires additional tools and labour. Please contact us in advance for a customised quote. Typical scenarios: embedding the safe into a wall, drilling through a concrete wall for bolts, or creating a floor recess.

Note: All fees stated above are exclusive of any applicable taxes (e.g., VAT) and are subject to change without prior notice. The final fee will be confirmed before any service is performed.


Additional Important Information

1. Travel Distance Calculation

  • The standard call‑out fee covers a 24 km radius (straight‑line distance) from our nearest authorised service centre.

  • For locations beyond 24 km, an extra distance charge of ¥10 (or USD equivalent) per additional kilometre will apply.

  • The total travel distance and associated fee will be clearly communicated and approved by you before we dispatch a technician.

2. Simple vs. Complex Installation

  • Simple installation (¥100 / $14):
    No wall breaking, no drilling. The safe is placed on an existing level surface. The technician will level the safe, demonstrate the lock, and test basic functions.

  • Complex installation (quote required):
    Includes wall mounting, embedding, drilling through masonry/concrete, or custom modifications. Because such work requires specialised tools, site assessment, and often a second technician, a customised quote is required. Please allow extra lead time (typically 3–7 days).

3. Payment of Service Fees

  • Fees are payable directly to the technician upon completion (cash, local mobile payment, or as agreed) or via our online invoice system.

  • For custom quotes (wall breaking etc.), a 50% deposit may be required before work begins.

4. Warranty Repair vs. Out‑of-Warranty Service

  • If our technician determines that the issue is covered by warranty (e.g., manufacturing defect within warranty period), no service fee will be charged for that visit.

  • If the product is out of warranty or the damage is excluded from warranty (e.g., misuse, accident), the above out‑of‑warranty fees apply.

5. Cancellation / Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the call‑out fee.
